Who we are
"Design My Paddle," "we," "us" and "our" refer to Design My Paddle, a custom pickleball paddle and gear manufacturer based in the United States. This policy covers the designmypaddle.com website, the Design Studio, and all order and quote requests submitted through our site. Information we collect
Contact & account information
- Name, email address and phone number you provide when requesting a proof or quote, placing an order, or creating a Design Studio account.
- Shipping and billing addresses entered at checkout.
- Account credentials (managed by our authentication provider) when you sign in to save designs.
Order & design information
- Order details, including products, quantities, add-ons and rush production selections.
- Artwork files you upload (logos, images, PDFs) for custom printing.
- Design Studio configurations and saved designs, so you can return to and re-order your work.
- Cart attributes such as your preferred proof delivery method (email or text).
Payment information
- Payment is processed securely by our payment provider (Shopify Payments) and card networks. We never receive or store your full card number.
- We retain transaction records, order numbers and billing summaries for accounting and tax purposes.
Device & usage information
- IP address, browser type, device and basic interaction data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Pages viewed, referral source and approximate location, used to improve the site and measure ad performance.
How we use your information
- •To process and fulfill your order, produce your custom printed gear, and deliver a free digital proof.
- •To communicate with you about your order, proof, account, abandoned cart reminders, and customer support requests.
- •To create and sync your lead or account with our commerce platform (Shopify) so we can serve you as a customer.
- •To send transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping updates, password resets) and, with your consent, marketing offers.
- •To operate, secure and improve our website, detect and prevent fraud, and troubleshoot errors.
- •To comply with legal obligations and respond to valid requests from authorities.
Meta & Google advertising compliance
Data shared for advertising
To measure and improve the performance of our advertising on Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and Google, we and our partners may collect and process:
- •Customer information data (such as hashed email, hashed phone number, name, city, state, ZIP, and country) at checkout and key events, used by Meta to measure ad performance and power Advanced Matching.
- •Event data such as page views, add to cart, begin checkout, and purchase (with order value and currency), sent via the Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, Google Analytics, and Google Ads tags.
- •Device and network data such as IP address, browser, and device identifiers, used to link events to a user or device across our site and our partners' platforms.

Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights. To exercise any of them, email sales@designmypaddle.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and we will respond within 30 days.
- Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements (e.g. tax records).
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
- Withdraw consent for data processing that relies on consent, including targeted advertising.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you are in a jurisdiction that provides one.
US state residents (e.g. California, Virginia, Colorado) may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information as defined by applicable law.
Data retention
- •Account and saved-design data is retained while your account is active and deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after you request deletion.
- •Order and transaction records are kept for the period required by US and Canadian tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).
- •Lead and quote-request data is retained to serve ongoing customer relationships; you may ask us to delete it at any time.
- •Artwork files are kept with the order record so we can reprint or rematch; let us know if you want them removed after delivery.
Children's privacy
- Our website and services are not directed to children under 16.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
- If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
International data transfers
- Our servers and service providers are primarily located in the United States and Canada.
- When we share data with processors in other countries, we do so under standard contractual safeguards.
- By using the site you acknowledge that your information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your personal information, including encrypted transit (TLS), restricted internal access, and secure authentication. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and authorities as required by applicable law.
